Room For One More is an independent non for profit organization creating lasting change in the lives of orphans around the world. Through adoption awareness and financial support Room For One More unites orphaned children with loving families and also to support the orphans left behind with food, shelter, education and medical care. With over 148 million orphans in the world this task may seem overwhelming but if everyone would care for just one orphan the world would change. This is definately a great idea...I have been toying with this myself as we live in Canada and there isn't anything that great for helping families with the adoption fees.
I would love to hear/read more about your ideas.

My husband and I are very discouraged lately. We aren't able to have children of our own and we want to adopt. We both have good jobs. Our home is nearly new yet we have to be foster care licensed through the agency we are in. We have no desire to be foster parents. We want to adopt kids. Fire marshall told us that we have to have sheet rock up to the roof in our garage instead of an open attic on top of the garage. It is going to cost us a thousand plus. We are being nickled and dimed for everything when all we want to do is give some kids a good home! I don't know what to do! Sue
